FC Telegraph BS 1951

FC Telegraph was founded in Basel in 1951 by a group of Swiss postal workers, which is how the team got its name. The club has a rich history as both a football club and an integral part of the local Basel community.

If you're new to Basel, joining FC Telegraph is a fantastic way to make new friends, both Swiss and international, and integrate into a wonderful local community club. Even if you don’t play football, you can participate in our numerous social events or simply come along to support our teams!

The club unites people of all ages and nationalities and currently welcomes over 350 players: men and women, young and old, Swiss and non-Swiss, players and supporters alike. While our club's roots are Swiss, our players today come from all over the world, including Switzerland, France, Germany, Ireland, England, Japan, Ghana, Romania, and more.

Our home ground is the Bachgraben Sports Center in Allschwil, featuring grass and artificial pitches, and a café area serving drinks and snacks. You can usually recognize a Telegraph player by our distinctive yellow and black kit.

FC Telegraph has teams for all age groups (kids, 30+, 40+, 50+) and skill levels. Even if you haven't played in a while, come join a training session and enjoy a kickaround to meet the team.

FC Telegraph boasts numerous girls' and women's teams playing at various levels, from beginners looking to have fun to those seeking competitive play.

We play our home games at the Bachgraben sports facility, Hegenheimerstrasse 150, 4123 Allschwil. Come and watch us play (it's free). We look forward to seeing you soon!
